Why i do what i do

Hi! My name is Emily. I am the owner and head photographer behind Emily Nicole Photography, LLC. I graduated from the University of Central Missouri in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science degree in photography. 

From a very young age I've been attracted to the arts. From dance and gymnastics to theatre, they were a great way for me to express myself creatively. Photography quickly became an outlet as well, both through self-portraits and capturing others.

I’ve also always been a romantic, a dreamer. From watching my favorite movie of all time (Titanic) to daydreaming about meeting Prince Charming in a trip across the sea (even if I have to travel back to the 18th century to meet a ruggedly handsome Scotsman *cough cough* — big Outlander fan here.). I’ve always been in love with love. I’ve been photographing people on one of the happiest days of their lives for nearly a decade now and I still can’t get enough.

I'm your biggest hype girl. I'm always trying to make people giggle and feel comfortable. What I strive for most in each session is for my clients to feel confident and energized. My background in so many art forms gives me a unique, creative edge to use for posing. I find happiness in capturing your life and personality in candid shots, as well as posed images.

Therefore, I encourage my clients to be themselves, be unique, and a have a good time. Photography is my passion in life, and I'm thankful my clients trust my artistic eye to capture their most celebrated life moments.
